I just read this article and it’s quite concerning….. we here at Glendale Community College in Glendale Ca. are on the same boat. Facilities staff and Campus Police (Classified/CSEA represented) have been here from day one of this Covid-19 nightmare. We were never sent home like everyone else, and were even handed letters from our supervisors stating that we are essential to the continuing operations of the college. Essential Premium Pay was authorized by law last year in the ARPA Act of 2021. Yet the college has turned its back on us Classified. We need help here with this situation.
